(3/29/1905 London-10/22/1976 Hastings) (England)
   Figure painter, still-life painter, watercolorist, illustrator, and stage designer. Studied at the Chelsea Polytechnic and Royal College of Art. Much of his art takes a satirical look at people's behavior, including their relationships and sexuality.
